Join us for this meeting, where we’ll get to hear from Dr Stephen Badham, Associate Professor and author of this paper:

The older population is more cognitively able than in the past and age-related deficits in cognition are diminishing over time - ScienceDirect

We like to bridge the divide between academia and the commercial world so, in this meeting, we’ve invited Stephen to come and discuss his research informally with us as a group.

We’ll invite him to share with us:

  • Why he got involved in this research
  • A summary of his findings
  • Why human age related deficits are diminishing
  • What we can do to maintain brain health as we get older

If you’d like a teaser of what he’ll be talking about, you can watch this video (from 15 mins): Notts Today, Tuesday 7th May | Notts TV News | The heart of Nottingham news coverage for Notts TV

It will be a relaxed and informal meeting, a chance to get some intellectual stimulation on a topic relevant to us all, and one that's important for us to know and understand.
