We’re delighted to share news of a new role being created at The Fore. The role itself is a Pro Bono Network Manager. This is a part-time role (c. 2 days/week - £250 p/d) to help manage and grow the network of skilled volunteers who support the small charities they fund.
The role is about managing the end-to-end administration, keeping close relationships with the volunteer pool, matching people to charity requests based on real need and fit, and making sure each match actually lands - from initial scoping through to completion and feedback.
It's a role built around relationship management, coordination and genuinely understanding both sides of the match — charity and volunteer — and it sits close to their Partnerships team.
They are looking for someone who can bring their experience in organisations, strategy and relationship management to a highly valued network. Experience and interest in coaching/mentoring charities to build best pro bono opportunities and how to engage with highly skilled volunteers would be a plus. Interest in how to engage the broader Brave Starts community would also be desirable.

About Rachel Crawford
Rachel has spent her career building organisations, programmes and partnerships that turn ambitious ideas into sustained impact. Before joining The Fore, she spent a decade with Village Capital, most recently as their Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer, working across social innovation, entrepreneurship and organisational strategy.
Earlier in her career, Rachel worked in private equity, hospitality and tech. She holds a Master’s in Social Innovation from the University of Cambridge.
