Thinking of becoming a coach? What is involved?

It’s not unusual for our members to want to consider the reality of life as a coach.  In this session we invite Dr Yvette Ankrah MBE to come and share her insight and thoughts about what it takes to be a great coach. We’ll expect to cover:

  • What is the process for becoming a coach?
  • What is happening in the coaching world at the moment – what are your thoughts about the landscape of this sector?
  • What predictions do you have about what skills and niche areas might be popular over the near to mid term?
  • What does a typical day look like for you?
  • What are the things you like and dislike about being a coach?
  • If someone was to consider this as a profession, what would you ask them to reflect on and consider first?

Who is this session aimed at?

We welcome anyone who has considered coaching as a profession.  We welcome those who want to come and explore this as an idea in a small group.  You will all get to meet each other and share a little about your own ideas – also giving you insight to others who are similarly considering this as a path forward.  We’ll offer the chance for you to connect together after the session so you can all support your own ideas and thoughts about how you develop your thoughts and ideas in this space.
