Being an Age Activist Workshop 2

12:30 pm
-
2:00 pm
Zoom

Many of our members feel passionately about the importance of the skills and experience held by the 45+ demographic and want to push the agenda forward in terms of what they can actively to do make a difference.

Our goal is not a competition of disadvantage: age is our asset so, whilst we acknowledge challenge, this is a workshop aimed at helping you discover your voice and the constructive things you can do and get involved with.

The main benefits you’ll get from coming is:

  • Meeting others similarly engaged
  • Building up possible alliances and connections
  • Stimulating your own thinking over what you can do and get involved with

This is less about educating and informing, and more about coming together as a group to share and shape ideas into actions.  Please note however, this is not a meeting where the idea is to pass off ideas to others. The focus will remain on you and what you can do.
